As The Time Passes
So many things come and go and that's been every true for this year. I've kind of neglected dA but I've been busy with so many things. I was a photographer for a small film shoot that is about Love and Tulsa, Ok. I also volunteered for Indie Emporium which is a local arts and crafts show that happens once a year. I've been getting involved with local things and trying to strengthen the local arts and crafts movement in Tulsa.
Anyways I would like to thank mrcool256 (https://www.deviantart.com/mrcool256) getting me my first DD ever with :thumb81221981:.
He's been a good friend here on dA over the last year or two. I can't thank him enough. It couldn't have come at a be
A New Year (A Little Late)
It's been a busy month and I've been meaning to say at least a little something. I got to see the Flaming Lips for their 2nd annual New Years Eve Freakout and I'm in my last semester of community college. I'll have an associates degree in liberal arts (I'm a humanities major). I also bought a macbook pro the other day and I'm trying to get used to using a mac. So this is short and sweet. I hope you all have a great year.
Music, music, music! And a song!
I have an audio project due on Thursday and I spent an all nighter with my new friend Matt. He came up with the lyrics and I helped him with the guitar parts. We basically play the same thing but we add a few different notes in there separately some where in there. So it's technically my first recorded song. http://bps.gotslam.com/King%20of%20Hearts%20(ver2).mp3 There is the link to the actual song and you can go to http://bps.gotslam.com/ download it. The ver 2 is the completed mix I suppose. Not a lot of difference other than it has my my guitar track in it as well. Where as the other one is just all my friend Matt.
Stumbling To Lofty Goals and Evening Struggles
So I've been entirely way to busy for everything. I had been looking for a part time job but I don't think it's going to fit into any of my current plans. As some of you know I'm one of them poor jobless college students who survives on federal aid and really, really nice parents. They're the type that foster the idea of individual thinking and allowing the arts to take their process and grow. Anyways since school started I haven't had as much time lately for other things. I was also in an artistic rut for a good portion of the summer. My heart was some where else but that happens.
So where to begin. I guess I'll start off by saying o

Pretty nifty video, my friend. I love the end , made me laugh.
I like where you were trying to go with the video, and despite a few partially-off syncs between scene and music it came together well. Naturally the disjointed nature of stop-motion exacerbates the effect, and there are a few transition choices here and there I would have loved to see but weren't (e.g. the end was abrupt, longer "pose" shots for each warrior, etc.) ... but all that is just friendly critique. It's light-years beyond anything I could make, and I applaud most loudly your work! Thanks for sharing .
